Corse, France

The next day, we were set on reaching the West Coast and spending some more time in the water. This meant driving back some of the track we had followed the day earlier and then moving westbound.
While driving downhill, we also spotted multiple Red Kites roaming the skies. Ever since Ecuador, I have had a fable for bird photography, so I tried my best to capture them while they were around.
Not too much time passed before we reached the coastline, where we followed a country road towards the south. We filled our water tank at a local fountain and then moved on, with the roads sloping around the cliffs and opening up wonderfully scenic views. Of course, this was a perfect opportunity to send up my drone.
Right around the corner, we spotted a long beach where we were able to park centrally and then go for a swim. Moreover, the bay featured a neat French restaurant where we had some excellent lunch.
After that, we continued further along the road, which opened up to reveal the view towards Punta di Curza and the northern coast of the main part of Corsica.
Further south, a secluded stone beach offered more stunning views. While hiking down the steep cliff would have been all but impossible, I flew my drone down with ease.
We drove further and further, until we got towards the area of Punta di Curza and the surrounding semi desert. The scenery got more mountainous by the minute and before long, we took a turn and were back to offroad gravel tracks.
For reference, I have included the map below. Our trip took us down the western side of the island and then through the semi desert in the south west of the map back up to the ocean, where we would then stay overnight.
The track took us all the way into the semi desert and then northbound to a remote beach.
Though direct access to the beach was blocked, we found a protected square to set up camp a little further. We then walked downhill to the beach to cool off and afterwards had some BBQ with view over the ocean.
The remote spot also offered a wonderful chance to photograph the night sky including the milky way. Overall, while quite hot, this was another exciting location to sleep at. Also, I got jump-scared by a cow randomly roaming the campsite in the dark.
